Ms. Cunningham is a Perinatal & Holistic Wellness Advisor; a Facilitator and Master Speaker/ Trainer for the Inspire 2 Empower Me International Training Team; a Mental Health Partner with Blu Magnolia Birth Services; a Mental Health & Holistic Wellness Partner with Malawi’s House Holistic Birth Services and Clinical Therapist with Restoring the Whole U, LLC. Over the years, she has counseled and championed United States (US) Citizens, Veterans, Servicemembers, and women alike. In addition, she has gained invaluable experience working with the Illinois Dept of Human Rights, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and serving in the US Army. Her specialty tracks are perinatal mental health, and clinical social work with families, military servicemembers, and veterans.
LaCresha is currently licensed in three states and holds certificates and specialized training in military social work, perinatal mental health, and telehealth therapy. LaCresha is a current Ph.D. student in the esteemed Whitney M. Young Jr. School of Social Work at Clark Atlanta University. She obtained a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Media Arts, and Theatre at Chicago State University. She is the mother of two spectacular sons, an avid traveler, a proven foodie, and is dedicated to lifting the vibration of the Earth through her work, writing and prayer.

LaCresha “Cree” Cunningham, LCSW is a passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Authenticity Coach, and Spiritualist with a primary focus on mental health and wellness. With over ten years of experience in social services, Ms. Cunningham has walked in her purpose, to intuitively help heal emotional and psychological scars. She founded Healing Sacred Scars so she could assist clients as they birth new phases of life rooted in purpose. In her words, “I sit at the intersection of spirituality, mental health, physical health, and culture, creating a sacred space where healing happens in authenticity and individuality.”
Her framework rejects a "cookie cutter" approach, by utilizing culturally specific designs, clinically relevant strategies, and evidence-based practices through a holistic lens. The vision is to provide space for clients to undergo a process of growth and self-discovery through behavioral and mental transformation. The intended result is to recall one’s authentic self, heal and celebrate the journey to fulfillment.
